The Black Fives Foundation is dedicated to researching, preserving and showcasing the inspiring legacy of pre-1950 African American basketball (known as the "Black Fives era"). This collection is an homage to the early 20th century black basketball pioneers who paved the way for generations of players to come. These kicks bring rich colours and textures to the classic Suede silhouette, finished with thoughtful graphic details. Natural dyes, handwritten lettering and an original co-branded tongue label reflect the roots and authenticity of this statement collab creation.
